I just wanted to try to express my gratitude for this board, and all the wisdom and knowledge that you have to share. It is so incredible to know that I am not alone in this fight against chronic suffering! With the help of folks like you, I can finally advocate for my own health, at last.

Print off the links then check them off as you read as you could spend several months reading all of this.
print & read Dr. Barrascono's 2005 info first; you will come back to this often.
Also, see Cheryl's extensive web sites on: LD DIAGNOSIS, SYMPTOMS, & TREATMENT ... wonderful! Read the area on CO-INFECTIONS! You could have from 1-12 other illnesses that tick is carrying...lyme, malaria, etc.
If you are showing symptoms of co-infections, I would like to suggest being tested for co-infections when you have LYME western blots done. It isn't cheap!! But if you are positive, you can treat the co-infections first, and then work on LYME symptoms.

Ahem, I hate to bring this up, but it seems that some of you got the name of the person who began this thread quite wrong.
I got to wondering why some of you were calling this person "mimi" when actually the name is MINImonkey or 'mini'. Could change it to MIMO for short. Lol!
Maybe we need some lyme specs, eh!

Welcome, fellow Californian, where they don't have any Lyme disease. So glad you've found us, and we've found you!
