Thank you so much for posting this article. It was very uplifting and gave me hopes that my little girl will be able to live a somewhat normal life despite having this chronic illness.
I can only hope and pray that she will be able to live a healthy, happy, long life like these men. Mikayla is determined to help find a cure for this disease and if there is a cure out there, I know she will play a part in finding it.
Thank you again for sharing this story with us, I am putting it in Mikayla's scrapbook.

I didnt read the posted site but do remember seeing the movie about the Canadian doc who discovered insulin injections and he treated a very young girl who lived well into her 70's and lived a full life.
So there was strong hope for a full life when treatment was first available.
