Dr. Joseph Burrascano "Lyme and Associated Diseases (diagnosis and
treatment)"

Dr. Charles Ray Jones "Clinical Assessment of Lyme Disease in Children
and Adolescents"

Dr. Ritchie C. Shoemaker "Advances in diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic Lyme Disease: understanding innate immune responses"

Dr. Robert Ding "Acupuncture in myofascial disorders"

Dr. John Fish "Nutrition and Lyme disease"

Ed Fuchs will be showing a deer feeding station which helps to kill
ticks on deer, breaking the reproduction cycle and lowering the tick
population.

Wayne Gilchrest's, Chief of Staff -Tony Caligiuri will be giving a
legislative update concerning Lyme disease.

Bayer Environmental Group will speak on tick biology and the system
for rodent control.

Approval of Continuing Medical Education credits is pending.

Ann, I totally agree! Wish I lived closer for this FREE great speaker lineup! Oh, how I envy you folks.

Wanted to move this up. Though I will hear some of these speakers at Hope to Heal, I am most interested in hearing the presentation by Ritchie Shoemaker because he adds a very important piece to the puzzle of chronic illness. If I am able, I plan to go; and I will share anything I learn with you.

I live within an hour from there and would like to attend. The only disadvantage about going is that I would get nothing out of it unless there is an ASL interpreter at this conference.

I have a very difficult time picking up support and information in the community without an interpreter present.

It really sucks being a DEAF Lymie where the only information I can get is from things I read.

I'd like to hear what doctors and experts out there are saying. I think I should have that same right to hear it as everyone else, but how do I get an interpreter at this event??

I just emailed one of the coordinators to see if it is possible to get an interpreter there. I will let you know through this thread or by PM if I hear anything.

Thanks Lymeout,

I also contacted a couple of people at the Chesapeake College to see if they can provide an interpreter for this symposium. Hopefully with two of us contacting them, it will give them the push to do so.

I am hoping and praying that things will work out, so that I can have my eyes opened and meet others like me.
