My wife's HMO policy has been ok, well they did deny an MRI, I found out on my way to the ER last June, but my PCP has treated me with the published advise and my eduction here on lymenet. I still fear denials, etc. as we continue to be aggressive with abx.
I am fortunate of having a second option of traditional employer paid coverage through my work using one of three networks: Alliance, Beech Street and Virginia Health Network. This is reportedly good coverage, but how can I know but ask fellow lyme patients.
Does anyone have any Lyme experience with these networks...Beech and Alliance are reportedly national networks. Any LLMDs articipate in these networks? I have open enrollment now.
