Whew. That's powerful. I don't have the disease, but I have walked this road with my daughter. And...still...I haven't walked it.
Thank you.

edited: PJ, an afterthought, please copy the web site page here, and add to Treepatrol's NEWBIE LINKS asking him to add. Thanks!

Your story hits lyme right between the eyes. If a family member can NOT understand after reading his heart-tugging story of yours; they are NOT alive.

PJ, thanks for posting about the true story you wrote! POWERFUL; it just tears my heart apart all the injustices you/we lymies have fought from the beginning.

I kept wondering who wrote this, and so glad to see that the author's name was shown, your name.

Thank you also for starting your web site and adding my over 500 word story to it! It was close to your limit.

Having read your story, I understand so much more about you.

Forgive me for adding unnecessary stress to your life when you were working out the bugs on your new web site.

I am so grateful for the things I still can do and the eyesight I have after reading your story.

I went 34 yrs. undiagnosed, and 20 months in treatment, but I've NEVER been as sick as so many of you ... especially the young children and those in their 20s.

I thank God every night for blessing me with the health I currently have.

I think she means to go to Tree's links and then send him this link in a PM to him. Ask him to include it in his links.

Tutu, you are exactly right!

PJ, I did that; but here's Treepatrol's newbie links also. I suggest printing them off so you know what's there but wait until after he adds yours to

it.http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=029917&p=8#000248

Go to his last page, last entry; he was showing what he adds in it for me since I don't reprint his long web list each time. I just hand write in the newest additions & where they are found t.

Again, thank you for sharing this. I tried printing this today, but my printer is acting up. It would be great handing family/friends who BUT YOU DON'T LOOK SICK attitude to them.

Betty, Sorry I don't know what or who "tree" is, or how to get to where his page is or what you are talking about. I have only been on this board under a couple dozen times. I see nothing like what you are describing. I did however follow your link and then post a reply to same, giving "tree" the proper information. Please refer to me as PJ Langhoff and don't use my first name (just an FYI) that is my writer pseudonym, not much of one, its really just my initials. But since I am a published author, it is the one that I use for that purpose.

Don't worry about the "stress" [cussing] you didn't cause any (in your earlier post). We all have lyme moments, I have learned to blow off negativity, but it doesn't preclude me from commenting about it from time to time! heehee

Thanks for all the work you do, and helping me spread the word about "The Forgotten".

PJ, also on TREEPATROL'S newbie link I showed above. Go to his "post" ... 1st screen, this will show ALL the links he has to date there.

That's what I referred to by printing off this info.

Other readers, NAN, copied PJ's single spaced article and DOUBLE-spaced it. So if you are wanting to print it, just wanted to let you know about the other alternative of space between each line.

PJ, I edited my 3 posts where I showed your given name; gone...now PJ. I'll just think of you PJ as pajama time. lol [Big Grin]

Betty, I'm sorry, your first paragraph is still greek to me.

"PJ, also on TREEPATROL'S newbie link I showed above. Go to his "post" ... 1st screen, this will show ALL the links he has to date there."

1. I don't know what TREEPATROL is
2. what is the 1st screen and where is it
3. It may as well be greek

Can you please enlighten me so I don't feel so darned stupid? Thanks

It contains EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT LYME BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK!!! [woohoo]

OK Lymetoo and Betty G....I send treepatrol a private message, hopefully he will get it.

Whatever you folks can do to help spread the word about the lymeleague.com web site or "The Forgotten" is phenomenal. I have to say that I am hearing from both coasts on this poetry and its circulating in the lyme community. Overwhelmingly positive support.

Now if we could just get the legislators and doctors and insurance companies to react the same way we'd be able to shut down this board once and for all--or at least reduce it to sharing recipes and "normal" stuff like that!

OK Betty,

I would do that if I knew where his site was and how to do that.

I don't understand how to get to tree patrol's main page or where those email addresses are. I haven't seen anything like what you are describing and I don't know where to begin.
Can you help me with a link directly to where you are talking about please!?!?

Thanks

Pffftttzzz never mind, I found it by following somebody else's link there.

I don't see how to get to the newbie's page in the first place so I'll just bookmark this link until the lyme gets out of my brain and I can actually T-H-I-N-K

Thanks everyone.

Paula,

As in my reply above, here is Treepatrol's direct link of NEWBIE LINKS:

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=029917&p=8#000248

"email addresses" ... Paula, my mistake due to my neuro lyme. I meant Treepatrol shows endless web LINKS for newbies of important things. Sorry to have added to your confusion.
