I'm sooooo tired of having strange nightmares and I have them at almost the same time every morning. I didn't have nightmares until I started IV rocephin. I had rocephin last year at the same dose with no nightmares at all. Most of my nightmares are horrifying, disgusting or just plain freaky.

There's no explanation for this -- I'm having no more stress in my life than usual. It has to be the rocephin. I've had bad dreams occasionally in the past with a very rare nightmare, but this is ridiculous.

This morning I had a dream about Martha Stewart. This dream was troubling, but it wasn't a nightmare. Martha had lyme disease, the ducks didn't believe her and she was trying to seek information and support from me. I remember her being interrupted by people who wanted autographs, her camera crew, hair stylist, etc. She kept coming back to me for help but I was unable to help her because of the interruptions.

Strange, really strange.

Remember--most often you represent the people in your dreams. Sometimes they are who they appear to be, but mostly they are a part of you...

So maybe your dream is telling you that you are too busy to listen to yourself--or maybe all of lifes other demands are getting in the way of your recovery--?

That is just a stab in the dark--no one can interprete a dream except the dreamer...

BB, my daughter had psychotic nightmares while on IV Rocephin..But not sure if it was not also before and after.

I attributed it to the meds attacking the bartonella in the brain..But I am not a Dr..lymemomtooo

I had a strange nightmare the other nite.

i had a dream that i was at the dr office and they were at lunch...i was waiting then i looked at my scalp and it had these huge sores all over it...big huge blisters...

my hair was detaching from the scalp..then a bee flew out of my head and my mom goes you have a very bad yeast problem. The bee landed on my thumb and it was swollen and black and blue. I had this dream twice that nite.

Another nite i had a dream my LLMD was holding a seminar on lyme and i was well and helping other patients, we were all laughing and having a good time.

Strange dreams...i was only on an antifungal no abx.

i'm on a couple of different drugs which occasionally give me nightmares and very often, extremely strange dreams.

it's hard to get the rest you need when this is going on.
