I am newly diagnosed & need to find a support group in the chicagoland area. They won't let me go to the one in Hoffman Estates since I am not a patient there. Please let me know.

Hi Lola,
These were listed under Illinois groups. Hope one works out for you.

Someone is starting one in the Chicago area, or is that you? I just saw this someplace, or someone sent it to me. [quote] Hi all, I'm going to be starting up the chicagoland lyme disease support group again. If you would like to be on the list of upcoming meetings please email me at [email protected] and let me know if you would like to be on the list. If you don't email me at the address above i'll assume you don't want to be on the list. thanks much,[unquote]

I think it is sad that you are not allowed to go to the support group in Hoffman Estates. Shame on them! I didn't realize Lyme had boundaries. And that LLMD has been on a leave of absence for a year, too, without giving her patients a reason or a time frame for her return. Hiker

Lola needs help - Anyone in Illinois willing to reach out to support her please contact me asap.
Apparently there are no support groups currently in Illinois or at least the Chicago area? I find this very surprising!
Anyone??
