What do you use for protection when you mow or garden.....if you mow or garden?
I have checked the bug repel sites: essential oils and garlic or deet and permetherin (like the military uses.)
We have hired others to mow our lawn the last two years and suggested they use deet and wear boots and a cap.....but I feel badly about the amount of ticks in our yard/neighborhood. I wonder if we should just protect ourselves and do it ourselves.
What to use????

Have you seen that stuff that you can get in the Wal*Mart hunting section? You spray it on your shoes and clothes--you might try that.
