well,
organic chocolate
really helped me with yeast infections when I was on IV... bittersweet, powder, with just a little sugar. That and a lot of yogurt. Nobody wanted to believe me when I posted that, long ago... but here I am, and there you are. [Wink]

But what I'm really here to say is...

BREATHE

(ok, who is this guy?)
(ask yer local tutu!)

Now for the part that makes sense:

I had Lyme for about 10 years, all told. (All was told, hereabouts, but maybe unavailable now?)

Finally, after 5 months of IV and assorted orals, 1 year of orals to followup, and a course of Artemisinin to top it off...

I ended up with:
  • no Lyme
  • real Parkinson's
  • no use of my right hand.
I think I wasn't breathing enough all that time.
After much experimentation, and concurrently with taking my Requip pills, I've concluded that - for me - the biggest factors in the severity of my Parkinson's (neuro) symptoms are:
  • sleep
  • aerobic excercise

I'm typing this with both hands.

The first - sleep - is easy for most of you, probably.
The second one is harder, but really makes the biggest difference for me, now that the Lyme is gone.

So, first, know yourself.
Figure out what a reasonable level of activity is for you.
Then do it. Do it even if it's boring as hell. It will help.

If all you have energy for is breathing, do that well.
Meditate on your breath, breathe deeply, breathe happily! Not all the time, that's weird!
I know it's hard. I've been there.
It takes a while, you must be patient. It might not even show until you get rid of those critters inside. But it will help.

Now I'm off to wander again... may you find your path to being well...
See y'all later!

Wondered where you were all this time.

Sorry about the P.

Chocolate is my drug of choice.

That's a nifty traveling "breathe."

Chocolate every day for breakfast for me.

3 tablespoons organic cocoa
3 tablespoons ground organic walnuts, almonds or
pinch of green stevia to taste (me 1/4 tsp)
MIX with water

Add 1 hearty tablespoon olive oil, coconut oil or

Note: I use to use coconut oil and loved it but it made my cholesterol skyrocket so now I use olive oil.

Hey Dan,

I remember hearing about the Parkinsons a while back. So glad to hear from you [hi]

Thanks for the advice on the chocolate. Any excuse to eat chocolate, in any form, sounds like a plan for me [Cool]

BTW, my kitty still has her skirt on.

Lymetoo

Yes coconut oil is suppose to lower your cholerterol. Im soooo special.

No doubt about it cuz when my gp asked me about any change in my diet I told him Id been eating lots of coconut oil the past several months

I stopped and the numbers came right down.

Nothing is an absolute for everyone.

Very cool Danq, in all ways. Great to hear from you, especially to hear that you've been doing so well.

I gather that you're getting the organic chocolate in powder form? Any special brand?

BTW, someone else posted about organic chocolate a long time ago -- excessive lead has been found in processed chocolates, including some organic brands (most famously, Dagoba had to recall their products in March of this year). But it has so many health benefits if you get the good stuff.

see http://www.sciencenews.org/articles/20051105/food.asp
