Anyone getting better, or know someone who has gotten better? Do those who improve leave, so we don't know?

Yes I have seen many people over the years come and go....
Most the time when people go its because they got better have their life back and have things to do.
I think that azure wish is right..once people start to feel better they might not visit lymenet as much as they used to..
When I was very sick, I was on lymenet morning, noon and night..Since I stopped my abx at the end of last September, I don't come to the website as much..I am starting to piece my life back together..
But I just wanted to tell you to check out the success story link..I found a lot of hope reading about others who beat lyme..It took me 16 months of abx and one year of complete disability, but I am back to 100%..
I am thankful for this website and the people who use it..this place was and will always be a "lifeline" to me..

people do get better. 3 wks of abx following a rash and its as if they had a summer flu -- all gone. some without treatment get well -- or appear to be well.
Others linger in a no man's land. is it active lyme? or is it post-lyme illness that has been triggered by the tick-borne disease in the first place.
Until there is a test to measure the disease, and therefore measure the value of the treatment -- it's hard to answer.
i have heard some say -they got their lives back after being debilitated. others say, they will never be the same.
i can only believe, each of us can fight our way through and be well. Continue to be involved with your family's care. It's the only way.
all the best - be well.

Hi all, Thanks for your encouragement. I haven't been here for about a week, so was surprised to see my post back up.
Starting second week with abx, going better than first week. Close to being on my full dose.
