Hi everyone. I am starting to feel like an artist again! I just went to the book signing and slide show for the author of the book, "Grief Unseen." My work and certain commentaries by me are in the book, which is about women's miscarriages and experiences with birthing.
I also recieved notice that four of my paintings were accepted into the "Transformation" exhibit, an international juried show for disabled artists. It opens at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washing- ton, D.C. on June 10.
I also have an interview at a college next week to pitch a show that I curated. Keeping my fingers crossed.
It has been a slow journey back to myself, and I am still on that road. I just am rediscovering the artist that was lost.
Best to all of you. Di

I was hoping to go to the opening, but I don't think it will be feasible financially. I am bummed about that because I really wanted to attend. Apparently there will be a color catalog and they are trying to get the exhibit to travel.

Sweet! That's excellent news! Hope the tour comes through, that would be wonderful for you. But I know that the best part is being able to create again.
May it always be with you.
