Thought this might be a way to stay connected-even when we are not on-line.
Share your favorite verse-I will underline it in my bible with a notation of who submitted it.
Whenever I open my bible-you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Amen

Here's my current favorite:

2 Corinthians 12:9

My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Blessed beyond Measure,
Carol

Hey Carol!

Great idea! My favorite Bible verses are Jeremiah 29:11:
"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

and Psalm 45:11:
"Forget your people and your father's house, the King is enthralled with your beauty."

-That may sound kind of odd, but I like to think of God thinking we are beautiful, I think it's a beautiful passage.

The Lord Bless and keep you!

My current favorite is:

Weeping may last for a night,
but rejoicing comes in the
morning.

One of the blessings that comes with chronic illness it moves you toward dependance on the promises. I have found more than I have lost.

"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.

I say to myself, The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will wait for Him." Lamentations 3:22-23

Favorite OT:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths. Psalm 3:5,6 (NIV)

Favorite NT:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:12, 13 (KJV)
