Lyme disease physician, Ann F. Corson, MD of Mendenhall, PA, will speak to the public June 10 at 1 PM in the Garnet Valley Middle School auditorium in Glen Mills, PA. The Seminar entitled ``The Emerging Epidemic of Lyme Disease'' is sponsored by the Lyme Disease Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania and the national Lyme Disease Association. Dr. Corson, the featured speaker, will deliver a presentation titled ``Medical and Social Impacts of Lyme and Tick-borne Diseases''.

Other speakers include Pat Smith, President of the national Lyme Disease Association, discussing ``National Overview of Lyme Disease Issues,'' Ed Tate of the DEET Education Program* "How to Properly Apply Repellent" and Harvey L. Kliman, Ph.D. of the LDASEPA "Lyme Disease in Southeastern Pennsylvania."

Dr. Corson's lecture is free and open to the public.

We also encourage interested physicians and health care professionals to attend.

I just saw this post...darn it...That would've been great! [bow]

I really wish we Pennsylvanians could make a BIG BANG...,we ARE #1 for Lyme in the country...any ideas?

I'm in the process of moving to be closer to LLMD. i'VE concluded that you can't be knockin' on death's door & live in the middle of nowhere! [Eek!]

this was a very good seminar. My dad went with me and he learned a lot.

This was the first time i heard Dr C speak and was impressed.

too bad her waiting list is so long.
