Hello everyone,

This message can be shared.

We have only 16 days until Dr. Jones next hearing!

Thursday June 22nd, 9 am in Hartford, CT.

Please attend to support Dr. Jones!!!

Background Info:
Dr. Charles Ray Jones, the LEADING Lyme literate pediatrician, is
being wrongly charged by the Connecticut state medical board with
unprofessional conduct. His hearing has been ongoing, and it is
imperative that we provide him an overwhelming show of support at
the next day of his hearing.

About Dr. Jones:
1.Dr. Jones helps thousands (8000+) of kids from all over the world
that have no where else to get help.
2.He does it at great personal sacrifice working 6 or 7 days a week,
10 to 12 hours a day.
3.He doesn't turn away children, even if the family can not afford
to pay.
4.Hundreds, maybe thousands, of families believe their children
would have literally died or become incapacitated if Dr. Jones had
not helped them.
5. If he loses his license, the vested interests who claim that
TBDs are easy to treat, easy to diagnose and hard to get will be
emboldened to target other docs who are helping people with TBDs,
leaving thousands of people without any hope or chance of getting
the medical care they need to live any kind of decent quality of
life.

To support Dr. Jones is to support medical care for all children,
everywhere. Show the global community you care about children's
healthcare and each and every child's right to exercise the freedom
to access the healthcare they need and deserve by supporting Dr.
Charles Ray Jones.

Attending the Hearing:
Please consider making your travel plans soon.

I will be block booking rooms at a local hotel. The cost will
probably be about 95.00 for the one night before the hearing.
Holiday Inn Express is one of the hotels I have spoken with. It is
right across the park from the Legislative building.

Details will be forthcoming.

Dr. Jones has asked everyone to attend his hearings. This is a quote
from what he said at the Rally in Hartford on June 2.
"I welcome and extend a hearty welcome to each and all of you to
come and see what is going on in the legislative hearings." Dr.
Charles Ray Jones

Dr. Shapiro will be cross examined by Attorney Pollack at the June
22nd hearing. Shapiro said some really foolish things in his
testimony and the cross, I am sure, will be very interesting.

Defense Fund:
Please also remember his defense fund. If you can send a donation of
any amount please do. Make Donations payable to "The Dr. Charles
Ray Jones Legal Defense Fund." Mail to:
C/O George Heath, III (CPA)
26 Fairlawn Drive
Wallingford, CT 06492

Note "gift" in the memo field
2) A WEBSITE FOR DR. JONES IS NOW READY TO TAKE PAYPAL
CREDIT CARD CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE DEFENSE FUND.

**
I hope we fill that hearing room and an overflow room as well on
June 22nd. I saw how much the children's testimonies meant to Dr.
Jones at the rally. Please consider bringing your children. If they
can not sit for the full hearing bring them for a s long as they can
handle. I am certain he will love seeing every child that comes.

The time for the hearing is 9 am to 3:30 pm. There is a break for
lunch, with a very good, inexpensive cafeteria in the Legislative
building. There are also a few short leg stretching breaks as well.

Please show Dr. Jones you believe in what he has done and continues
to do, attend his hearings.

I'll send the detailed info soon.

Questions? Please feel free to email me [email protected]

PAc,
I would also like to contribute to Dr. I... if I am not too late I have no funds avail but I want to make a note if it might help..

Way back in 2002 when we were still in Pennsylvania, my family became aware of what may be the causative factor of our failing health issues. I had been diagnosed with LD in 2001, later finding that my entire family tests positive for this bacteria.
We were not aware of who to go to in order to take care of our children. I had reached out for support and Dr. J's (Connecticutt) office was the only ones willing to work with our situation and tried to find answers for our children's health concerns they did not ask for a penny an except to pay for the tests ..they set up an appointment for my sons on July 10th if I recall correctly...
My eldest had first degree heart block since age 7 ( at this time he was14 years old) along with mental health and adhd issues and my youngest had mental health concerns as well along with ADD... their office was the only ones who would address my concerns and ordered the testing on them both..based on the fact that thier father and I were both positive for LD.
My sons were also found to be positive and in the meanwhile we found another doctor who took over the treatment after finding the tests showed to be positive and after my eldest began treatment the first degree issue was no longer found following a 2 year course of antibiotics... without that treatment he may have found a spot next to his father ( who died at age 42 and was found on autopsy to have BB in his blood) in an early grave. I owe my blessing to this man and his practice for giving us hope and help when no one else would. Anything that I can do to help I will gladly do,as I owe my sons regression of this heart issue to the treatment of this disease, the first step was recognizing what was causing this heart problem to begin with.
you may copy this letter and use it with my blessings...

For anyone who may be wanting to attend the hearing and save every dollar they can doing it, I'd like to suggest that you check www.hotwire.com for a hotel. If you do a search for a hotel & put in East Hartford for the location, it will bring up one hotel with a 2.5 star rating for $45. per night. The 2.5 star rating means that it will be a Holiday Inn Express, AmeriSuites, Country Inn & Suites, or similar quality hotel. You will not know the name of the hotel until you book, however we go out-of-state every three months to my husband's LLMD, and we always book through Hotwire for our hotel and car rental. We have never been disappointed in the quality of the room, and certainly not the price! Their prices are much better than what we've found on any other website including Priceline, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc. The prices do vary from minute to minute, so if you see a price that you like, you might watch it for a few days, but remember that it could go up or down by a few dollars at any time.

I truly wish that there was some way that those of us who cannot attend could send cardboard figures with our names on them to occupy seats for us. Maybe they should be sold for say $100. each and have the money go to support Dr. J. (Probably not legal, but anyway........) This is certainly where everyone who can possibly make it should be.

I hope this suggestion and the money it saves will make it possible for more to attend.

Nancy

Optimistick, sorry that you had a bad experience. We once had a rough room in OC, MD and ended up leaving almost as soon as we checked in.

I was at the Days Inn and I was very satisfied with my room and it was very clean..But all I wanted was clean and comfortable. So there must have been some problems with the staff in some rooms.

I think there was a Holiday Inn next door, so it would work too. Not sure of their prices..And it is not the one that was mentioned as being down town. It is approx a 10 to 15 minute taxi drive to get there.

I've found that the best protection against unsatisfactory hotel rooms is to arrive as early as possible to check-in time. That way, if you don't like the room you are first offered, you have the best chance of getting another. If it is a matter of a dirty room, the management is surely obliged to remedy the situation. Don't hesitate to speak up!
