I got some names of Lyme physicians but am looking for someone in Connecticut who will see a person like me who had the disease two years ago but has not felt completely well since with lots of issues going on, most recently extreme fatigue not relieved by rest, pain, headaches, nausea, vomiting, mild fevers and chills. My doctor thinks I'm just crazy. Maybe I am. I don't know how to proceed. Can a person just call some specialist's office, check the insurance info, and then request an appointment? I'm not sure my MD would go for talking with this new, prospective doc. I don't know but don't want to continue to deteriorate physically and mentally due to a severe lack of energy which I have had on and off since I first had Lyme two years ago.I need help.

You just need to make an appointment with an LLMD.... preferably one recommended HERE by several HAPPY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS.

Have you posted for one in "Seeking a Doctor?"

Be sure to get tested for babesia also, as your symptoms could point to that.
