My husband is a professional musician and his music is ranked #16 this week on something called American Idol Underground.

Go to

http://www.idolunderground.com/Pages/Charts/ChartDetail.aspx?GenreID=7

/see page 2 ... upper right hand section

You can listen to his song and then rate it. [You can move the bar on the left to as high as a 5.0]

Hope you enjoy it!

Too,

Really nice piece, and how great that you're married to a sax played!

I noticed that in a week, his selection moved jp from number 734 to number 16...that's awesome!

Glad you could figure that out. We didn't know what half of the numbers meant!!! We were shocked to even find out that it was ranked that high!!

Yes, it's his own song.

I'm very proud of him. He plays nearly everything. Pipe organ, piano, flute, clarinet, all the saxes, and piccolo too.

you can go here to listen to more of that CD:

www.cdbaby.com/goldapp
www.cdbaby.com/goldapp2

He is working on another CD this summer.

Thanks guys for your support! [Smile]

do we have to sign up or join to listen? I followed your directions, but when I hit play nothing happened.
Either I didn't wait long enough or wasn't signed on properly?

Same thing here Charlie and Carol,
Wish I could get it to work. Mine seems to try to load it then skips over and trys to load another song(which I dont know why) then trys to load a whole list one by one and get overwhelmed. It doesnt help to reclick on it either, goes right back to the list again.
And what is """buffering?""" ??? Computer literates????

I don't know. We have DSL and it loads immediately. Go to the www.cdbaby.com/goldapp and click on "The Dude" when you see his CD songs on the LEFT.

That's the song that is #16 this week.

More music on www.cdbaby.com/goldapp2 ... love songs.

Tutu, I went there, but never seen anything like this before so I'm confused.

Went to 2nd page and someone said he was NO. 16 right, but I forgot to study his name and didn't know how to listen to HIS SONG only.

More assistance please.

Tutu, boy are you blessed! Here we are listening to radios, CDs, cassette tapes, and you have the REAL THING there entertaining you full time! You've got it made in the shade TUTU! lol.

Yes, I do have music coming out my ears, but that's fine with me!!

When you get to page 2, click on "The Dude"....hubby's name is James Goldapp.

You can go here to see the band he is in.

www.ssbigband.com He is the second sax player there, but his face is covered by the sax!

Click on "See us live" to see the restaurant he is in. It's really nice!

Thanks, gang! He used to teach jazz to middle schoolers in Texas. He was a band director for 21 yrs, but his passion is performing.

Interestingly enough, his main instrument was the clarinet, not the sax.
