4741 plus extra Ohioans that Ann loves to tell us who signed as an entire family on 1 line; and rightfully deserve EACH their own line! lol [Big Grin]

Lynne, do you have any idea how long you are going to pursue getting more names/states, pleas BEFORE you present it to congress?

If yes, perhaps I missed that somewhere. Holidays would be great getting more names, etc. UP WE GO! [Big Grin]

Don't you think a nice round 5000 signatures would be a great number to send our US Congress?

We want them to pass those bills for education, research and treatment of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases, right?

Every time I see that another person I know has signed Lynne's petition to support the "Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Prevention, Education, and Research Act of 2005.'' (S.1479, H.R. 3427), I say a very loud "YES!" And I add, "I knew you would!"

Right now the signatures number 4752 when you count the 11 Ohians who are included on two other signers' number!

We need 245 more people to sign.
Go to www.petitiononline.com/lyme

We can do it.

Here is the page you can send to your friends. Takes only a minute and more people will sign the petition:

http://www.petitiononline.com/cgi-bin/mailpage.cgi?lyme/petition.html

http://tinyurl.com/wow8x

You could print out the statement, take along a lined page of paper and see if you can set it out for people to sign at coffee hour at your church.

Then you can put them on the petition on line.

Ann - OH

4749 == last one was my classmate! I sent a special email to all my SMALL CLASS members asking each to sign, and forward to family/friends!

Yes, I like 5,000 since it has taken this long to get this many. [Big Grin] With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, people are NOT going to want to FIND time to participate in this except we lymies! [Frown]
