I wrote a bit of a bummer post and it seems to have disappeared-which is just as well-but if it does show up on the the board somewhere- oh well-you all get to see how quickly my moods can fluctuate.
Anyway the gist of it was -our house may be beyond reclamation from mold and asbestos. But the good news is-we may qualify for a city program which will relocate us while it is being torn down and rebuilt.
I was told by a contractor to stop trying to do the work ourselves because of the health hazard involved.
Bottom line- What's a little more rain ???

Just Don-don't be sad-get GLAD. I did save you some cake-but like everything else in this house- it got a little moldy!
Anyway-hopefully I will be a bit more computer savvy by next year and can post more than just links.

Oh my Carol..What news..I am so sorry..
But some parts of the city are a bit dangerous, you know with murders and such..HOpe you do not have to go to a dangerous area while they do the work.
Maybe Baltimore should have some of those stored fema trailers to help those that were flooded out. I saw a report where they had ordered too many and they were paying to have them stored somewhere..Quite a shame.
And it is probably good that you are not playing in the mold and asbestos. WE want you to have many more fun birthday parties..Hugs..lmt
