My SO knew I had lyme when we met. We discussed it ALOT ( we still do). he also knew the risks of unprotected sex. And, that was his choice.

After he moved in however, he started getting stomach aches. BAD stomach aches. A liver flush fixed that. THEN, he started getting stomach aches. Then small neck aches.

NOW, he is laid flat out on his back in severe upper back pain ( he has no insurance, he used to, but they cut his hours AND his insurance at work).

He has had this back pain for 3 weeks now and its not gettign any better.

And lets not forget this guy SWEATS bad. Now this, this he did before he even met me, but Im talking this guy DRENCHES the covers , but yet he will be cold to the touch, but literally soaked. I have never ever seen anyone sweat like that. It only happens at night, not during the day.

And another thing, he never pees. Hardly ever. He pees MAYBE once a day, and he drinks about 8-10 bottled waters a day.

Ive been watching this guy slowly fall apart. It seems like when we "fix" one thing, something else pops up. He has a tendency to get the shakes something fierce too and doesn't knwo where they came from.

I think he has babesia with a slight twist of lyme. He had a full workup in 2005 , or 2004 when he was hospitalized ( for sudden blindness that came on during stress)... hmmm.. but the workup was fine. His dad died of "probable MS or other organic brain problem" when he was 3.

Now, here is the thing. Before all these headaches, stomach pains, body pains started, he smashed his toe at work. He smashed it SO bad, right on the toenail, that it got infected.

I gave him Biaxin ( I know, bad me) while he was waiting to get into the podiatrist. So he was on abx, and did not herx, but still, thats when the problems started.

Another thing- after he moved in here, my daughter got Parvo/Fifths disease and shortly thereafter (14 days to be exact) me and him came down DEATHLY ill. I got over my joint pains, he did not.

Im just worried. I feel responsible. My husband? He had headaches and stomachaches after "being with me". My ex fiance? Same DARN thing- stomaches and headaches, and pancreatis once, plus a host of other problems.

Not to mention I unknowingly gave lyme to two of my kids .. I honestly didnt know I was sick, just tired and cranky.

So.. while I feel guilty, I supposse I should get this guy checked for lyme and definately, babesia. ( which as I stated, he had those symptoms before meeting me).

Just when Im getting into the remission state, Im beginning to notice that lyme .. is still in my house. Im quite annoyed.

I'd get him checked for Parvo too.

Has he had the smashed toe checked out thoroughly since the headaches and backaches? -- could be some other type of infection from that.

The lack of urination could be a major problem -- this could be leading up to something serious kidney wise. Plus the fact that toxins are not being removed quickly and efficiently.

Did the podiatrist do any bloodwork? If so, get copies and see if anything was abnormal then.

Yes, it could be Lyme or other tickborne illnesses, but you need to rule out the other obvious things first.

Crime, so sorry to read about his severe illness and back problems plus the NO insurance preventing him from getting needed treatment.
Best wishes to you all! Praying for you.

Thanks guys for your replies.

Seibert: you mentioned something interesting. The podiatrist did not do bloodwork AND he didn't take his antibiotic after seeing her like he SHOULD have. Now you got me thinking.

Jeff: dogs get a different type of parvo than humans, and no, we can't catch it from them [Smile]

Timaca: We both went to the doc when we got sick and said my daughter just had fifths, and he said in his usual duck manner "Theres no WAY you could have THAT, since you are adults".. yes we know, because adults are immune to viruses ..? [Wink]

Thanks BettyG. He's going to be looking into insurance monday or at least see about getting the extra 4 hours a week he needs to actually GET insurance. We shall see.

Thanks agian for your replies. Im still off to bed ( dental abscess in the healing)

Crime,
I am thouroughly confused now. I thought you two broke up over weird issues. Isnt he the one that walks down the other side of the road???

I can see why you are concerned about him,,,something is NOT right here. The profuse sweating is one thing, the no going to the bathroom all day is another.

Hope you two get this figured out and get headed down the straight and narrow regular path of life very soon!!!

Hoping for you and sending healing thoughts to you and yours!!!
