Hey guys, It's that time of year, when we seniors start shippin out college applications. I'm stuck on my essay, though. I just can't think of a good topic; I have way too many options and too many stories to fit into an 800 word paper. So if any of you have any ideas of how I can approach this, they will be happily recieved. Thanks! -me

Maybe just that...making a decision on what to write on when you have so many stories that come to mind.
Then edit, edit, edit until you have it within the limit.
Just start writing. Hope to see your essay posted on lymenet.
Have fun!

Em,
How about writing about how Lyme has changed your perspective on life? Discuss how you have overcome an obstacle and what you learned from the experience. Also discuss any way that Lyme has changed your life goals.

Hi Em,
I don't know your personal story about battling Lyme, so I don't know where you are along the spectrum of treatment and recovery.
However, I noticed that "Stronger" is part of your screen name of Strongerangel.
Something tells me that your experience with Lyme disase has made you a stronger person. Is the Angel part of your name part of your faith, your ability to be a helpful angel to others based on the compassion you feel from Lyme?
Perhaps your screen name will be a good starting point for your story.
I'm a professional writer and eager to see your essay posted here for all of us to enjoy.
And don't worry about overanalyzing what you're going to write. Just write from your heart.
Jill
