I am new to this discussion group and was reading a few of the postings. My family has started a letter writing campaign to Oprah and I am sorry to hear that it has already been tried. Anyway, My sister is in need of a new doctor. she lives in Leesburg, VA. first one she saw in NC is not allowed to treat lymes anymore, and her current one is leaving practice to do research. Also we need prayers for nancy. She has become severly depressed and may need to be hospitalized. She has gotten to the point where she can hardly speak. She can hardly form correct sentances. your prayers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi there. I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. I hope she won't be put in a mental ward, because they most likely will NOT continue any treatment for Lyme disease.

I'll send you a PM. Ordinarily, you would post something like this over in Seeking a Doctor.

Smacksie, welcome to Lymenet. You will do better at finding a doctor for your sister if you put a post in the Finding a Doctor Forum.

There are several good ones in the DC metro area, alhtough perhaps not in Leesburg itself.
