My son John just got back with his Mom from California where he had the opportunity to meet with Andy Abrahams Wilson who is making a documentary on Lyme disease. Dr. J. (my son's doctor after 30 mainstream "you don't have anything wrong with you doctors") will be in the film which is scheduled to air 2007. It seems that the biggest hurtle now is funding and they are trying to find corporate donors to finish the film.
Does anyone know of a site where you can find people who have been cured of Lyme. All I ever read about are the bad cases that seem to have little hope. I would like to hear about people who are better or cured; that will give us hope.
As I surf the web I see articles referencing Dr. Shapiro saying that what all these people have is not Lyme disease. Wonder what it is then? Kind of like the O. J. case; how come they never found the real killer since O. J. didn't do it.

Welcome to LymeNet. Sory your son is sick, but you have come to the right place for answers. Ask all the questions you need to. Many helpful friendly people here.

AC,
Is there any particular reason why you registered in 05 and have only 5 posts???
Just curious....
Do a search on success stories and you'll find what you're looking for...
To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To strive when your arms are to weary
To run where the brave dare not go
Sing loud folks so AC can hear that there is HOPE!

No there is no particular reason other than I mostly read the entries. I am not the one that is sick, my son is and I have looked plenty for success stories and there just are not that many that are posted on the internet. I'm sure that there are plenty but my guess is you just don't hear much from people who are cured.

I also agree that there are a lot of good stories on the success link.
Too, many people start their lyme journey on Lymenet, get the information they need, start their treatment regimens then get well enough to live their lives.
For them, posting here is no longer a priority but this doesn't mean they don't on to live successful lives.

AC...I'm in the same boat as you. I'm not sick (some would argue), but my daughter is. I followed every link and rabbit trail on this webiste, and still haven't covered it all.
