"ANGELINA JOLIE DUMPS BRAD FOR LEN TILLUM!"

I wanted to share this funny incident because so far i have just been, (quote,"fully bummin people out", say's z-man)... and i understand...

OK, so i live in california and there's this radio

station KGO newstalk station, and each sunday you

can here Len Tillum... a practicing lawyer who

will answer all your questions...even in

e-mail(he says)...anyway, i am divorcing a man

who stole my every last dime while i was

bedridden from lyme(what else!)were talking over 2 million! and not a penny left... through forging my name in real estate...Bla Bla...

the funny part is that i tried for nearly one

month to get an answer from my one simple

question, sending the same e-mail again and again

hoping one of the staff would see it or len

himself...because he says he reads each and every

mail he gets!!! well, i was desperate! so the

other night I asked my kids (who listen to the

show with me and knew i was trying to reach him)

"What would get his attention???"

and my 10 year old blurts out...
"ANGELINA JOLIE DUMPS BRAD FOR LEN TILLUM!"
Well, we laughed so hard while typing in the new caption that night... and sure enough i had a response by the next morning!!!

(He must have been hoping...or wishing!)

anyway, i love that show and he seems like a nice guy although my answer was of no help...
just a number for the local bar assoc.

but the point is, it was read!!!

Out of the mouths of babes. Glad that we can see from this that our society has priorities straight!

I hope that that number is worth something to you. Maybe you should find a way to "leak" the story. ha ha

I very much enjoyed your story. Very diverting which seems to be the need of the hour.

See...

Out of the mouths of babes!

Too bad he did'nt take your case!

How did you lose a cool couple million?

I can't even count that hi!

Sorry Char...I posted right after you and did'nt know you said the same thing...you owe me a coke!

My next obvious question is....why post another rivetingly, provacative, attention getting(supposedly), topic of the same ilk??

You're noticed...believe me...I definitely have my eye on you...

While you're in the library...pick up a book on self help to repair your emotional dammage!

[Big Grin] that way it's not a totally wasted trip!

z-man-
I prefer to call my, "emotional damage",

"emotional growth!"... not to be confused with a

"growth" as in say...a wart!!!

(music, please),
I haven't

worked since this disease took me captive in

spring of 2002, and couldn't at this point,

unless it required plenty of bed-rest!

You asked me how i lost all my money...well

it's pathetic, but i basically married a con-man!
I thought i was divorcing my "soon to be"

X-husband for cheating on me while i was

sick with lyme...come to find out that while i lay

bed-ridden, he, (aquiring his real estate license

during marriage)
forged my name over 60 times and put MY properties

into his name only, and equity skimmed absolutly

everything!!!

before i was diagnosed, during my illness, he would be gone for days, and i would have no way to get food or water, which made me close to 6' under... and i barely weighed 90 lbs!(usually a spry 125 pre-lyme) and also isolated me from friends and family... it was then that i wrote and wrote and wrote, even if just a sentence here or there...(it kept me alive) i recommend it!

It gets much worse but it makes me

feel stupid to go on, when others are in places

just as bad, even worse!

Yes, i want my money

back as just getting groceries, and meds, depends on what i can sell on craig's list!... but

the burden lyes in finding where he placed the money (across the U.S.!)to get it back!

...and i know i have done nothing to deserve this crime upon me... Nor

getting this disease... there are reasons, life

has it's reasons... i just don't have all of mine figured

out yet, but i will...

(let me mention that i made every last dime by myself! I would find an old home,"fixer-uppers" if you will, move in, and fix it up over the 2 years that bill clinton gave us to be able to re-sell at a tax free profit!
California has some upsides, one of which is... real estate...
People pay (way to much) to basically live in rediculously small places... it's the land value.

BTW-when i married him, he didn't have a dime, didn't own a thing but the shirt on his back, and drove a borrowed vespa! (insert laughter here...as you call me a fool, but who would think people are capable of such lies)

IN CASE YOU WONDER,My children are from a previous marriage and he and I are on good terms...they leave every other weekend so it was then that would allow the abuse.

My kids have kept me "alive" during this illness, in me just knowing they need my example of how to live through adversity...what would that teach them if i acted on my dark thoughts when i just want to give up...

at the end of the day, i still wouldn't want to trade my life for another... In a strange way i think we choose it, and the full circle comes when we conquer all that we need to...never compromising our integrity.
Iv'e learned that it's ok to feel every emotion the universe created, but it's how you act on them that makes the difference!

THIS sounds so CORNY when i just read it...
sorry...sounds like one of my journel entries...

I want you to know that I KNOW we ALL have
horrible stories about this disease, and where it has taken us, and, who has been allowed to "rob" us due to our vunerablities from it...

But I prefer to think that we were all "chosen"...
and as much as this disease fully SUCKS... we are lucky in a way that "someone" up there believes in us enough to trust that WE WILL make a difference...

even if we just cheer up one person!

My reason for 2 posts on "riveting" topics???

I have this "constant need for proof"...

I think its awesome, and shows something about us

lymies.
We live OUR lives, not through the gossip

crap that seemingly inflicks those without purpose.
Yes,
everyone is curious about others sometimes, it's natural....
but here's my point...

Not one of us commented on the post entry entitled "angelina jolie dumps brad...bla bla"...who has time for that crap, right? I mean, maybe we read it, but to comment?who cares!

BUT ISN'T IT FUNNY that after one month of me tediously trying to get an answer from the radio station who claims to answer ALL email...
the very second i changed the caption, I got a response!
nothing more said... draw your own conclusion!!!
(hee hee)
makes me proud to be a part of this group!!!

Not to burst your analytical bubble curby but I suspect that no one posted on your Jolie thread cuz...

well they thought this one was a little intellectually challenged....and two of the same are just...

two of the same.......

Ya know?.......... Ya might want to go to OFF Topic for nonsensical ramblings when it does'nt have a whole heck of a lot to do with lyme disease...

Just a friendly suggestion......zman [hi]

Zman-
I thought of that , as i am new here,

BUT- it IS about life with lyme disease, and dealing with life relating to others with it...

and "general support" means generally... i'm lookin for a little support! or to give it!!!

...next time i will try to "challenge" you more Z...

BTW- yes, my mind works off the beatin path, but

hopefully in all my (did you say, "rambelings?)

you heard something useful?...maybe you are just way to smart for me!
BUT,i have to remember...

"you are not a doctor"...you just play one online!

P.S. the radio show i tried to reach, deals in
"dependant adult abuse" , and real estate law, so it's another story about us gettin passed up, as i mentioned to (them) i had lyme...
