I just wanted to post a small itty bitty piece of positive news (as it seems like everything else is going to hell in a handbasket around me) ... I got a "B" on my last exam.
The extra time for testing and stuff that I'm getting this year due to the ADHD dx really helps.
I got a D on the first and was really thinking I wouldn't make it, again, and to give up.
This time last year, I made a 50 on the first exam, then on the second exam, I couldn't even read the questions and then the answer choices without forgetting the question. I walked out of my second exam, about a fourth answered, and dropped out of school.
So, hope is somewhat renewed that I am not completely braindead yet. And, going to start Diamox to maybe help cognitive problems even more.

Hayley,
Way to go! I vote for your grade to be weighted as an A.
Betty, its my last year of nursing school. And I have vowed to use my degree (if I make it through) to help further the Lyme cause any way I can!
My doc warned me of the tightrope I'm walking, taking enough meds to just get through the next 7 months w/o going backwards. Will it happen, will I backslide physically ... mentally? I don't know. Will I make it? I don't know ... but its hard to let go of a dream.
Only seven months ... that's my mantra. Stubborn and stupid as it may seem.
So, thanks for the well wishes!
H
