Hi there! Thanks so much for the birthday wishes! Hopefully my birthday wish will come true!!! My cake looked like a bon fire, lol! Yes, we did go back to llmd. He changed his meds from augmentin/mepron to; cipro 500 2x rifampin 300 2x It's only been 6 days on this combo. So far his vision problems have gotten worse & joints are bothering him a tad bit more. Hopefully he's herxing, but not terribly yet. I'm taking him to his cardioligist the last week in october to check on his heart again & get the okay for a brain spect scan llmd ordered. (am worried about the injection part)Brain MRI injection made his sick for 2 days & cause terrrible heart palps. llmd also wants him to see neuro-ophthalmologist. I have the name of good lyme one in PA I would like him to see. (Thanks to everyone here) So I've spend much of the last few days trying to get his regular doc(PCP) to order the same tests because of insurance problems. Getting no where on the phone, so we're going to see her (PCP) at the end of the week. We're hanging in there with our fingers crossed! Thanks so much for thinking of us & sending bithday wishes. ~Ma
