Hi all,
Giving up sweets, especially chocolate ice cream is HARD!! I have never liked the idea of a yeast diet. I know if I slip, it might set me back yeast-wise but is it a total "no no"? I am taking Theralac.

Thanks! And those of you that give me permission to eat the ice cream, a double Thanks!!

Maybe a SMALL amount? If you cheat regularly, you will eventually pay...and you won't like it!

Sick and Tired- I like your line of thinking.

I rationalize my ice cream by putting bananas and peanuts on it.

Ever had Fried Ice Cream?

I think I would have to be institutionalized to withdraw from ice cream.

i have fudge popsicles on a regular basis. small, individually wrapped. not all that much sugar and no fat. keeps me from feeling like i'm on a diet.

oh Yeah...that REALLY helps! HA HA!! [Big Grin]

YOu can buy sugar-free ice cream, but realize that is STILL contains sugar alcohols, which DO feed the yeasty beasties.
