This WAS a good site. Now you have all kinds of jerks selling and pretending they don't know other sellers. Guess it's a sign of the times.

I'm really surprised at the moderators, though.

This site is fun and informative. If you do not like the information SOB. If you think someone is not particularly on the up and up report them to the moderators.

The moderators have lives and families to feed like us all. When they are asked to intervene they do. They are not on here 24/7 reading every post.

They volunteer there time so we can have a place to share. Please do not knock folks for giving there time so me, you, and everyone else here can commisserate. That is just not fair.

I'm not knocking "folks for giving there time so me, you, and everyone else here can commisserate."

I'm knocking folks for selling, other folks for tolerating it and still other folks for ignoring it.

If you are finding people selling things on the site report it to the moderators.
Copy the addy of the thread and send it in with what the problem is. They will take care of it.
That is a violation of the site's policies and people have been reprimanded and/or banned for it.

(As for me, I haven't been up to reading many threads lately and may have missed the specifics you're refering too.)

edit: I'm sorry, I may have misunderstood. Are you saying you already reported it and it wasn't taken care of?

Dear catastrophe,

This site is a godsend for many of us.

Lymenet has helped me so much and I am very thankful for the hard work of the moderators, which I understand is a volunteer position. I have great respect, admiration and gratitude for their work -- they seem to spend alot of time reading and weeding out trolls and other suspects.

Instead of knocking it, help out!

Follow the above advice and report folks you think are soliciting to the moderators.

Cuz they can use your advice and help too.

Be well,

Ella

If you don't like a post..don't read it! If you try to control everything, you will take the value out of the site.

Let readers make there own decision of what to read.

for me, personally, i want to read recommendations and comments about any products that people have tried.

i don't care whether they sell them or not. the exchanges provide much needed information and have saved me some money........

Every time someone mentions a brand of abx, they are "selling"! If some other means besides abx is working...let's hear about that too.. so the big pharmaceutical company is not adding more $ to their greedy pockets and a regular joe might make a few $ to help him with expenses..If it works...PLEASE share!

Mary

Stymie...."catastrophe" is not referring to the "CD's".. I know that for sure. It's the product that is being offered "free."

It is up to US in most cases to notify the moderators when there's a problem. Sometimes they beat us to it, but usually a thread is removed due to someone reporting the breaking of a rule or policy.
