Here is what I was thinking this morning. IF alot of lymies applied to appear on "Deal or NO Deal" Somebody would be selected for the show and have a great platform for lyme awareness, quite second hand!!
What a beautiful thing that would be, a pretty person standing in front of 'millions' of viewers and stating I have lyme. But you look so good, the REAL message of lyme AND its awareness.
Bet it would help untold thousands to recognize what they have been thinking,,,they really are sick!!! Would you LIKE to help even ONE fellow lyme sufferer and or tell the world we really are real and have a face??????????
Apply for audition NOW!!! Apply often!! After all, it is NOT a real brain science show, luck and timing, its all it takes!!! Doesnt hurt to be a photogenic person either!! Who HAS applied, who is going to NOW??? IB--just don--

I'm with Tabby on the standing part and am camera/tape recorder phobic and not remotely photogenic.
May I be excused as well?
Don did you apply? I think you'd be a brilliant spokesperson and all around asset to the show and get your few important points in there.
Go for it!

If I win big money , it might just start to pay forall the bills that I have incurred with this darn lyme disease!!!! Perhaps halfway through the show they can bring out an LLMD to help us choose the money cases!

I'm with Tabby and True on the standing part. I also need to be careful not to be seen on something like that or my LTD benefits could be endangered. They are being very difficult with others out with the same problems I have.

Photogenic ?-I thought that meant someone who wears sunglasses all the time because of light sensitivity-so I pictured a whole audience of Deal or No Deal wearing sunglasses. Makes sense to me with all the bright stage lights.
Lyme doesn't present a pretty picture so yeah-I'm willing to become a centerfold-then maybe people would stop commenting about how "good" I look when deep inside I'm thinking I'm not going to live much longer.

I am about as 'photogenic' as the runaway bride. Remember her deer in the headlights look. That would be me big time. Either old age or lyme has increased that fact 10X over. Every picture has red eye in it, even after a redeye filter.
And NO to your excuses, true blue, cobweb, and lou, peggee, and chronic comic ,,You all qualify as expert potential participants. Use a power chair to help stand up or sit down in while you are gaining your fortune. Rest for a few days should store up enough energy for a lowly "hour". Might be the 'best' hour of YOUR life!!!
COME'ON guys,,,somebody can manage this, where's Karate Lady?? Or TUTU when we need her?? She could turn on that southern school girl charm every time!!!I still B--just don--

First of all, thanks for giving me a good laugh Chronic, (while sitting here with my bedhead and sweats). Second of all can you imagine one of us Lymies trying to figure out what to do next? LOL, I dont think big decisions are up high on my list for important things to do! But publicity is a good idea Don, I think we should all write to Oprah, Dr Phil, or Ellen on the same day.
