I really need some info ASAP. I just returned from my PC Dr. and he is willing to have blood retested for Lyme but I need to know exactly what tests he should ask for. I know I have seen on this site that the Western Blot doesn't include a couple of bands which can be critical for a proper diagnosis (I think I saw this test needs to include bands 31 & 38). Does anyone know what the exact test is called or how does my Dr. go about requesting a test that includes these bands? I just came from LabCorp. and without this info they can't (or don't know how) to draw blood to test for these bands. Is ther any other blood tests I should have my Dr. request also (I will need to know what the test is called)? My Dr. is very willing to work with me on this and will order whatever bloodwork needs to be done. He is waiting for me to give him whatever he needs to write the script for my bloodwork. I'm sure somebody out there knows what tests he should request and the proper name of these tests. Thanks Dava

Dava,

To my understanding, Igenex is the lab that does the testing for the bands you mention.

They are located in California. You can find them at www.Igenex.com.

There is a link on the first page that says, "what test(s) to order". This should get you started.

Any other questions, just ask. Good luck.

Cathy
