HI there,
Could use some lymie friends. Had CL for about 25 years. Been with Dr. L in Encino, Dr. Y in Santee, and now with DR H. I love him and he has found the co infections that were also plaguing me. I am now on some meds for that, plus IM bicillan. I will need to go on IV abx this summer and am just having a tough time with everything. I am so emotional, so exhausted, brain fogged, meds make me sick, and I work and work and work so much. I don't like being depressed and doing nothing. I would really like some folks to chat with who will be allies and positive and just be around to chat with. PLease email me. I would love to talk.

Deanna, is CL, chronic lyme?

Do you belong to a lyme support group nearby? See left hand side, SUPPORT GROUPS, and then check for your state.

CALL the leader for info; many are too sick to email back!!

HA! I am flashing back to when I had a few docs just think I was looking for attention and wasn't really sick.

At the time I was a teacher and got lots of attention in the classroom..more than I really wanted.

This is a lonely and isolating disease. It is good we have this site to come to.

Not sure where you live. It sounds like CA.

My email address is [email protected] if you want to swap howdies as the little guy in the ozarks once said to his new teacher.

I am flat on my back today and feeling a little blue.

Yesterday, I was feeling pretty spiffy and full of myself.

The moods with this are amazing at times but understandable.

I have been seeing Dr. H in CA since Jan/FEb 2003.

It took a long time to get a dx and start treatment. We need more docs like Dr. H.

E-mail me if you need someone to talk to or vent.

I understand how frustrating all this is and I know the lonliness that comes along with Lyme.
