...you find out your result? I had my hearing last week after waiting for 2 years.
I heard it took take months for me to find out.
I am not new here, i don't know if anyone remembers me, i check out this site at least weekly but i dont usually have the energy to reply to anyone, sorry. I dont think i have any help to help anyone except to never give up.

There is no way to tell how long it will take. I had one take 10 months and another that was awarded at the hearing. And all times in between.
If you gave information for direct deposit, keep a check on your bank account. Two of my cases found large amounts of money in their bank account before they even knew their claims were approved. And one of them never even received a letter until 2 months later!

mine was 2 weeks, but he told me at hearing it would be up to 6 months, and do NOT call him at all!

The judge told me I was approved at my hearing which lasted less than five minutes.
The check showed up in my account about 6 weeks later, followed by the award letter.
I had been advised to wait until I had the letter to contact the LTD company, so I did. I got to pretend I had some money for a little while, at least!

helen, this should make you feel better:
in today's disinissues posts/replies, a posted said she was FINALLY APPROVED AFTER "8" YEARS! she did not say how many claims she went thru or how many admin law judge hearings!
