I got there through a MSNBC newspage. Read an article about "the Dream Doctor"... that he has ALS.
Went to his webpage to read further and maybe email him some links re possible ALS/Lyme connection. Lou Gehrig vacationed in Lyme Connecticut, right?
Anyway, the man is undergoing treatment with IV antibiotics, and has 'halted' his ALS symptoms... Just read the article
I could not get some of the links on his website to work. There is one there for Dr B's treatment guidelines! And another man's treatment and cure that I could not open.
Down about halfway on this webpage, on the right side, is a NBC Video launch that won't run on my dinasaur computer either. Looks interesting though! From this page... (Today Show Health)

Loribelle, Congrads for getting the proper word to him.
I was watching "Conan" a couple nights ago(so it was PROBABLY) a rerun from a month or two ago.
This dark haired 21 year old (actress?) was telling Conan that she was just on "House" I think, never watched it myself, dont think I get that channel. Anyway it is supposed to be some sort of medical wonders show.
HER ailment was having a 'tick' where the sun dont shine. And the doc had to go find it, according to her, and she said she was flirting with him while doing so!! A big haha funny thing to HER!!! She put a sign between her legs that said something like 'Hi Doc'!!(for him to see)real funny, yuck!!
So MY question IS,,,are these medical scenarios real on THIS SHOW, OR made up fiction?? If its a real deal show,,,she NEEDS the word how sick she MAY be soon!!Or some day!! Something about having a rash etc that lead to its discovery!! Sounds like an accident waiting to happen!!
OR next time she is on Conan it might be in a wheelchair,,,if shes lucky...AND she talks about things like this on national TV???turned me to --just don--

Don,
House is fiction. That episode in question, the girl had tick paralysis, which is different than Lyme.
It's caused by something released during the tick bite that causes paralysis while the tick is embedded. The paralysis stops as soon as the tick is removed.
Of course, they did not deal with the fact that she could have also had Lyme or other coinfections transmitted by the tick. But it's an hour long show that likes to have happy, neat endings where every patient is cured in the last 2 minutes.

No, I didn't get the word to him...
... just came across his article today. I read where he has ALS, then went to his website with the intention of sending an email about Lyme disease.
Then read on his website that he is currently treating with Lyme protocol, and having some good results! I guess a friend of his told him about the possible 'link'.
I pray for his (and every one's) recovery!

I already emailed him when the news first came out about him. I wrote him all about Lyme Disease, the current clinical trials using Rocephin for ALS, the information about ILADS, about the doctor who had ALS that turned out to be Lyme in Colorado, etc. etc., along with my name, phone number, told him I'm a volunteer with the California Lyme Disease Association.
I put in the subject line of the mail "You may really have Lyme Disease" hoping it would get his attention.
At the time, his website just talked about his inability to speak, how he was trying a computer to enhance his voice.
There was a link to send emails with well wishes.
Never got a reply. This was many weeks ago. But I just looked at the link you posted to his website and it's totally updated - I have no idea if he got my email or any other Lyme patient's email, but someone obviously got through to him!!
How exciting that he is on the right track.
