Hi all. I have been very, very good on my low carbs and little sugar diet.
That is until......My aunt in Germany sent me a suprise package for Christmas, which I just received.
This box is filled with german chocolate. Yikes!!!
Okay, okay. I must admit I am weak. I have no self control when it comes to this treat.
I had one and thought "no big deal". I told myself that I earned it, being so good for so long.
Of course one led to two. Two led to three. Half of the box is gone.
The funny thing is I never missed candy. I still crave cokes, but.....
Now I am craving that german chocolate. I should just give it away.....but I can't.
Maybe I should just eat it all and be done with it. I don't even want to share it.
Shameful adolescent behavior from a 41 year old mother of two.
This is my guilty confession. I know I must be punished......but not until I finish that chocolate!
The guilty pleasure.....maybe I should just have an affair.
Nah....Keep the hunky man. I want my box of chocolate!!!

You are too funny!
Have no fear.....it is an anti-oxidant, plus it sends out all those healing pleasure endorphins!

"Dark chocolate is GOOD for you," she said to herself as she bought 2 large bars yesterday (one with almonds which are ALSO good for you!)
I agree, once you decide to give in, it is hard to stop with a small piece- I am going to try to make it last a lonnnnggggg time...Enjoy -guilt free! Sue

Please be careful, guys. I just finished a week-long binge on hot cocoa. I swear it was better than sex! (LOL)
It took me a few days to figure out why I got hammered with my worst neuro-flare yet. It was the ketes fermenting the sugary-goodness into ethyl alcohol.

Dear Aggie,
I only allow myself one piece of chocolate....per day.
I usually do my two mile walk right after indulging to kick start my metabolism and get that sugar moving.
It was a thoughtful gift, but I did ask my Aunt next time to just send me a picture of the family.
Unless.....(I am an eternal optimist)......I have conquered this Lyme thing by next Christmas.
Hope your feeling better soon.

So Aggie,
Could we speculate/hypothesize a correlation between hot coco and libido?
Interesting experiment !

Hi Tutu,
Glad to see you are back. Did you have a good trip and holidays?
Missed your insightfulness and humor.
I was really good today. I did not eat one. Maybe my craving is over.
