A friend suggested I take a look at the site. I

have been having a pretty rough day. I started

getting sick back in the spring - Iwent through

the everything trying to determine what was going

on - thyroid had gone haywire, adrenals - nothing

too definitive but I was exhausted all the time,

candida - yeah, mercury toxicity - yeah, lyme -

no. Well, my new doctor has been taking good

care of me and my energy has increased and the

tremendous nausea, headaches are gone and the

anxiety that plagued me only comes and goes now.

Yet, lyme-like symptoms keep coming back. My

Igenex test was "indeterminate" and my doctor

wanted me to do something called a voiceprint

which showed lyme all over the place and it

validated my liver testing which showed it was

compromised (that explains all of the allergic

reactions I have had to antibiotics and other

meds). So, back to today. I panicked because the

last few days I have felt like some sense of

normalcy was returning and today the "metal

symptoms" as I call them (I feel like everything

has sharp edges to it - emotions, body sensations,

sound) returned. I want to scream, cry, I get so

afraid at times. The summer was so frightening

for me and I want to believe I am getting better,

that it's not just a fluke. Agggh! I am rambling.

I am glad I have finally checked into the site.

You are all brave and courageous people. I will

keep checking what you have to say about this

journey.

Hey there! Welcome!! If you'll copy this and post it again in Medical Questions, you'll get many more replies.

It's OK to post your first time in Medical so we can meet you and hear your story!!

If you will double space between each sentence or two, then more people will be able to read what you have written.

We have many visually challenged people here!

Welcome! [hi]

Welcome !
I am still pretty new myself . . but the support here is amazing.

All I can suggest is read as much as you can.
Read, Read, and keep reading!
I have to print out and highlight because my memory is so poor that I can't remember anything that I read!!

Do you have an LLMD? If not you should post to help you find one.

Blessings & Prayers

Heather

wenan,

Welcome, you will get some amazing support here. I'm stumped by some of the items you discuss merely as I haven't had to deal with them (ie: mercury toxicity/thyroid), but I'd like to help anywhere, if possible.

The symptoms you mention, most all of them, ring true for me and I'm sure for many here, too.

Stay strong and in charge. All the best, Karl
