does amy tan have lyme or MS?

i just finished her book-the opposite of fate-and the last chapter talks about her symptome, getting diagnosed and starting on meds.

then i read somewhere that she has MS

does anyone know the scoop?

she has Lyme and has been extrememly helpful in raising awareness anf funds for our cause.

I don't have the details, but the ABC producers said she had MS and is fighting it with the antibiotic treatment.....


Well, I'm guessing, she was maybe misdiagnosed as she has "MS" but in reality has learned she has the Lyme to fight. In reality it is Lyme doing the mimic game to "MS"????


Regardless, she was interviewed for the ABC special I was interviewed for which will hopefully air this February sometime. I plan to let everyone know as soon as I have an update on the air date/time. So....we'll all know then.

The error seems to be coming from ABC, not from Ms Tan. But hey, if a few more people tune in because they said MS, and then they learn what they might have is Lyme, cool by me.
