Watch out, I have been thinking again. You know how we are all at different places with this condition.

I need your help in coming up with titles for clubs for those different places...

For example: there was a time when I was so brain dead I could not even come up with a thought like this. I also spent a big part of my day in bed in lala land. LALA Lymers? Any other ideas for this stage of lyme.

A friend of mine reminded me how she would recline for 2 days beore going to water therapy and then two days afterwards to recover at one point in her lyme journey. That could be another club.

I need wheels (power chair to get me around and need to limit my time I am out and about each day to an hour). That could be another club.

Get it? Got It? Good. Can you help me come up with some club names and then I hope to post that club under the subject and explain what it takes to be a member in that club. This would help us to know we are not alone in all these different stages of lyme.

I know there are different stages of lyme listed medically. But, that has yet to help me. I still hear about someone being in stage 3 and still being able to drive, cook dinner, go shopping, etc.

Whereas someone else is in stage 3 and can't get out of bed for the most part and has to talk themselves through getting dressed when they do.

OK. I will stop rambling now.

OK I have a thought in progress.

We could name these after the different camps at Mt. Everest since it feels as if I am climbing Mt. Everest everyday to do the simpliest of tasks.

NOw, I need to watch the discovery channel and learn about the different camps again.

I know there is the Dead Zone.

And Base Camp.

And the summit.

Just a thought.

Just trying to take my mind off of things here.

I'm sorry you're struggling so. I have no ideas for clubs, but just stopped in to say hello and tell you I love you!

I love how you are always positive even in the face of a very grim situation!

Is your treatment going better now? You have a different dr, don't you??

Hang in there and I hope you will find something to occupy your mind!

Betty,

I am thankful daily for the new screen. Being able to be connected to others is very important.

TuTu,

I have the same lyme doc but a different primary doc. Miss seeing my lyme doc in person as I am now doing phone consultations.

Waiting for CALPERS to kick in so I will have more funds to put towards health needs.

How about the "Lymies Coming Out Your Ears" club, for those of us with multiple cases of Lyme in our homes?

Or you could name it the "Pulling Out Your Hair" club.

I thought of that the other day. What about the poor man's club and the ones who have a whole family infected or more than one member.

Still trying to break it down into sub groups so others will know they are in good company. [Smile]

What about those of us who sometimes spend large portions of the day sitting on the toilet because of our toilet-related ailments like interstitial cystitis, or irritable bowel syndrome, etc. ???

What about..."Commode Club" ??

If we do do a commode club (do do pun intended! ha!) - can I be the Commander of the "Commode Club"? I think I'd be a good leader for that.

First rule of "Commode Club" -- get a laptop computer.

Second rule of "Commode Club" -- get wireless internet.

Third rule of "Commode Club" -- get a color TV mounted on the wall in bathroom, hopefully with satellite or cable!

And the Fourth rule of "Commode Club", which really should be #1 but I don't want to type all that crap over...is NO CHEAP TOILET PAPER!

Thanks for this opportunity to serve. I hope I don't let you down.

OK, I have an idea. Of course this is totally gross, but I am the Commander of the Commode Club afterall -- you should really come to expect stuff like this from me.

HERE'S MY BIG LATEST/GREATEST IDEA....I finally discovered how to handle the very delicate situation sometimes faced when you are SO sick that things are literally coming out of both ends.... C'mon any of y'all ever been that sick?

For some reason, vomitting & diarrhea are a dynamic duo for me and now I have a new simple idea of how to handle it.

Sit sideways on the toilet, or even backwards if you're up for the challenge; take the lid off the tank and vomit in there. It's pefect! Almost makes me want to have to do both right now - just to see if it works as well as I think it should. [puke]

Now...since I've solved that problem, I think we should form a commimttee to come up with ideas on how to make time on the toilet more comfortable.

I would like to someday see like a Lazy-Boy commode - maybe even with a back massager built into the top lid. Wouldn't that be awesome to just kick back, put your feet up and get a back massage while sitting on a commode? HEY! For those of us with bathroom issues....these are good ideas - are they not? Someone needs to draw up some blueprints! We could make a fortune! [toilet]

HUGS & [kiss]

[toilet] [loco] [bow]

YOur wish is my command oh Commode Commander!

And I thought I was being clever by tossing my cookies in the nearby trash can next to the commode while sitting on the thrown evacuating.
