This may sound like a stupid question, but is it safe to donate blood if you have lyme disease?

Can lyme disease be given to someone through a blood transfusion?

Starrant......It would be helpful if you only posted medical questions in Medical. No need to post them twice.

There are more people in Medical by a long shot.
If you have questions that don't really fit there, then post them in General Support or Off Topic.
