Okay. Finally got husband to agree to get Igenex tested for Lyme.

He wants test results to come to him and nobody else. He is so stubborn.

We can get a Rx for the test, but will they send you the results as you are paying for it?

I just want this done so we know (He was ELISA positive last wk).

Any suggestions are appreciated. Prayers for the wife to not hit husband over the head with a frying pan are welcome too!!!!

Thanks.

Geneal

As far as I know, the results have to go to a doctor. I had the tests run by Igenex back in December.

They send the results to the ordering doctor only. This is true of any lab UNLESS the doctor has written on the lab slip "release results to patient."

geneal, can i lend you my frying pan? lol [lol]

results are to go to dr. requesting igenex lyme testing be done.

HOWEVER, it was sometime last year when one of the lymies put their FAX NO. also on who to notify area, and she said she RECEIVED them by fax same time as dr.

personally, i would not do it that way.

hopefully, you still have my newbie links/advise; i've got lots of info there on igenex on how to do/complete, etc. so you can be reimbursed for tests up to the max your health insurance. lots of luck! been there; done that!
