I was cleaning out some of my 3,600 Lyme disease files today and ran across this little poem I wrote. It's not the most beautiful piece of work.. but it came from the heart and I remember back when I wrote it.

It was when I realized I had just hit 10,000 posts here on the latest "new and improved" LymeNet board.

That was about 20,000 posts ago... as I figure the total should be about 30,000 now??

Anyhow..

Today.. as it was back then... YOU all mean a lot to me. Still.

Thank you for everything.. and know the last 20,000 have been even better than the first 10,000.

And I giggled when I read it... cause I'm still eating that ice cream! hehehe

Lyme Net Friends

Once upon a time

When I was all alone

I would sing a little song

Or eat an ice cream cone.

Once upon a time

When I was really blue

I'd hike on up the mountain

Or shop for something new.

Once upon a time

I had a tick attack

So I'd sit at my desk

And you'd be smiling back.

Once upon a time

When I cried out in pain

I knocked upon your door

And I called out your name.

Once upon a time

When I was needing you

Over ten thousand times

You made my wish come true.

Thank you!

[Big Grin]
