Has anyone heard of any doctors that used to be on the idsa side of lyme. Then contracted it and changed to the ilads side? I'd love to slip a tick into my neurologists bed, LOL. Of course Im only kidding!

From what I understand, my LLMD had Lyme himself and was ridiculed (like myself) by his colleagues. That's why he is helping people like myself now. Thank goodness he is there.

My Lyme doc's father had it and that's what got him started on this road. He really gets it even though he hasn't had lyme himself.

Obviously docs with lyme or whose lives have been touched by lyme are exceptionally eager to educate themselves.
I know what you mean, though. They say docs make the worst patients, don't they? I've often wondered if one doc or another would have treated me differently had they been unable to lift their arms, walk, sleep, etc, etc, etc.
Not that I'd wish it on anyone, but you see what I mean.
