I went to the doctors and was diagnosed with lyme. They gave me doxicycline for fourteen days and that was it. I'm sick all the time and each time I go back to my primary care physician he says that I'm ok. I need help. I cannot sleep at night because I am in pain. It feels like all my joints are coming apart, the pain is so intense. Am I alone? And where do I find a lymeliterate doctor in San Diego Ca?

Post under seeking doctor and you will get more responses on an LLMD in your area.

There are several here from California.

So post in seeking doctor in San Diego or surronding area.

we're ALL IN PAIN so join the pain club and we share our tips what helps and doesn't.

one treatment doesn't help all; it's combo of many things.

also, you need MORE DOXY; AT LEAST 2-4 MONTHS WORTH.

how long have you been sick?

what tests have you had done? igenex' western blot igg and igm

can't sleep ... have you had a sleep study done for sleep apnea where you stop breathing, etc? that's how i discovered mine, and that i doNOT get delta 4 sleep of rejuvenation of body injuries and feeling refreshed when getting up. [cussing]

I wonder about the pain too. I hurt so bad sometimes, I wonder if I dont have cancer. But I think Lyme might be worse.

I also wonder if the damage to the joints is permanent. I have a good doctor I think but I still have lots of questions.
