Alcohol affects are enhanced, that may be the source of your headaches. Also, it's high in sugar.

Taper off...really. There is probably something more technical for it, but you are already messing with your brain treating babesia, then add alcohol to the mix...BAM

Switch to coffee, that's my drug of choice!

I find that if I get a drink that I don't normally drink (usually tonic water with Lyme), then I have the drink in my hand and can skip the alcohol.

For me, it's the social aspect. I'm already loopy enough from the Lyme and babs!

According to Dr B's guidelines, the main 2 reasons some people do not get well is drinking ALCOHOL and lack of ADEQUATE REST.

Alcohol will also encourage YEAST to grow and YOU DON'T WANT THAT!!!!

If you take flagyl and even use MOUTHWASH you will become nauseous or even vomit. So NO alcohol if you're on flagyl, tindimax, or tinidazole.

I have no idea what happens when you mix alcohol and mepron / zith, but it can't be GOOD!!

Also...you're going to need a healthy liver in order to be on long term abx. No sense in taxing it with JUNK.
