I feel pretty ****ty today but am happy because I jsut set my first appointment with a LLMD in Tampa named Dr. C. If anybody has been to him or has any advice on to what to expect I'd appreciate it.
I am new to this board, have only been on here a few days,I have already been diagnosed with lyme disease that I have had for fourteen months. The doctor who ran the tests still havent faxed me a
copy of the results even though i keep calling them but I know I met all the CDC requirements. I'm not sure if they tested for coinfections I'm assuming they didnt so hopefully the LLMD will.
Any advice?

How long until your appointment? If you have a few weeks you might be able to get your local doc to sign an order to get your Igenex testing done. You could even call the office of the LLMD and ask if there are any standard tests you can get done before your appointment.
That may save some time and get your treatment started sooner.
Hope this helps, robi

Robi, I have already tested positive for Lyme and from what i understand this doctor treats coinfections based on symptoms not lab tests. He is also pretty agressive in treatment which is good news. Thanks
