I'm usually one of the most patient people ever. . .I am so short-tempered lately with the constant pain. It's unreal. How do you deal with it?

The best way is to try to get the pain under control. Are you getting any pain management? If not, push for something.
The second is learning to destress. It's hard, but you just need to learn when your body is over stressed and just force yourself to relax.
Work is my biggest stresser. When I start to stress about it, I just let it roll off of me. It's completely against my personality, but it really does help keep me going. I'm amazed at how much mor elaid back I've been the past year, because I forced myself to be.
Also, take it easy on yourself. Don't get angry at yourself for losing your temper. You are in pain, and it does effect you. Don't deny that.

I make sure to take enough magnesium for muscle spasm pain. My muscle spasms are much reduced when I take it regularly. This also helps keep my back aligned so I don't get pain from that too...and then I take pain meds when needed.
