Hello: I used this great website a few years ago when my son was diagnosed with Lyme. I found some great help in here for him and he is going great - in what he/I call "remission" and back to work.
A few weeks ago I was having problems with my eye sight. I went to my optomologist who ordered tests and tons of blood work.
Last week when I went to get the results -he told me to contact my primary physician as my Lyme count was elevated. He made a copy of the lab report and it showed. .84. I immediately called my MD - and then I found out that a Lyme test done two years ago showed .50. His reply was "we don't know if it's active or not". I have never tested positive for Lyme. I am upset with him for not telling me about the .50-as he has said it was "alright". No numbers given. I am on doxy at my request. Now I know the signs I have ignored as my son had the same. Skin feeling like a pin cushion, skin "crawly" feeling at times, B/P issues, heart palpitations, strange weird feeling in my head at times, etc..
SORRY for all this but my question is? Does anyone know the significance of the numbers I listed above and do they mean anything at all?
THANKS in advance
