hi like most of us lymies we take are antiobiotics and then a whole slew of vitamin supplements.

i am starting to have a hard time swollowing all of those on this newset treatment llmd has me on.
Does anyone know if vitamins can be opened up and dumped out?
because i take with lots and lots of water and my throat feels like pills are stuck in there it hurts.
newwest count close to 50 a day and most of 12 horse size supplements at one time.

there's got to be a better way!??I hope.

hi ronda,

yes, i have this problem too and really bad last july - dec. 06 when they had me on 22 supplements.

horse pills; boy, do i understand those!

tip: for me what worked better is having a few pills at front of tongue vs. way in back; they seem to glide down better.

can you put any in food; ice cream, canned fruit, etc?

what vitamins? i had everything in my 7 day pill holder and would fill up my 6 boxes once a week!

EXCEPT ACIDOPHULUS AND NYSTATIN! good luck.

you might do a search also; found at top under new post

Ask you doctor which capsules you can open and take with applesauce.

See which hard pills your doctor says you can split or crush. You can get a pill splitter/crusher at the drug store.

Sometimes you can actually dissolve a gel filled capsule in warm water and drink that. Ask you doctor about those.

Sometimes it is important not to take certain pills at the same time. See if the doctor can help you to spread them out over the day.

Hope you get this sorted out.
