first thought when I saw subject- Today's my birthday? What month is this? What day is this? But I'm too tired to even look for my calendar.
I don't deserve greetings because I have totally dropped the ball in wishing other's a Happy Birthday. I was thinking of trying to post all inclusive birthday wishes each month but alas even that didn't happen.
Guilt is a heavy burden to bear. Sometimes it's just too darn hard to live up or down to your own reputation.
Anyway- on a happier note I have gotten just what I wanted for my birthday- a lifetime membership in the "Moved or Deleted Post Society" in OFF Topic.
We've been doing quite of bit of clever(?)inane ,immature, drunk on ourselves partying, with plenty of cake ,too.
I would like to see the birthday card I sent myself last year though-so I'll go looking for it again and see if I can post it.
Thanks Lymetoo-you're a sweety for remembering. Back at you with my card, I hope. Carol

Happy birthday your cobbiness!
Yes, you have been doing fine work with your colleagues there in Off Topics. I have been visiting occasionally, and have been more than impressed by your inventive cooking techniques!
Have you ever considered a stint on Survivor?
Best wishes.

For a birthday present, she has been permanently booted off of lymenet. She thinks she is accused of being a troll.
She did not know that more than one name wasn't allowed and has even been reported to her isp providers and there is some type of investigation.
She is so devastated that she did not make it to our second annual trip to Ocean City.
She has sent me an email to post and I will attempt to do so in OFF TOPIC and hope that the moderators will consider giving her another chance. Others have done much worse and been re-instated.
She changed her first name due to a conflict with another Carol and people on here being confused. Then she has forgotten the new password and had her computer taken away from her in a domestic situation. So a new name. The last one she did only to ligthten up a rough post since her main method of operation was humor. That was her only sin.
That and not reading the fine print of all of the rules and being ignorant of the only 1 name clause. I also have 2 names but it is because I could never get back on with my first one. I also had to use another email address to get a new name. NO scam..Just could not get my password to work for my first name.
So hopefully, I will not get the boot.
Please read her post and if you are her friend, please understand that all that she has ever said is TRUE. She has had major hardship that most of us will never know, ( I know her personally) she needs lymenet to survive.
She came to our support group and I told her that she would find help and friendship with lymenet. I have attempted to help her when I could and have been to her home and know her children. This has been a lifeline for her.
This slap has almost done her in and ruined her only vacation. Please help her if possible. lymemomtooo

I recently had the opportunity to meet Her Cobwebbedness and enjoyed getting to know my new cyber friend. I am saddened to hear that the moderators have banned Cobweb. While I understand the sensitive nature of trolling and the important task at hand to 'keep the order' here, I would hope that the moderators will review and reinstate Cobweb..... cootiegirl

I'm sorry she won't be here anymore. Do you think the boot came after she was getting a little more x-rated in her jokes in the off topic? Seemed like an error in judgment at the time to me. But probably not beyond correction if she knew it had gone a little too far and all.
