I just recieved this e-mail through another support group. All Long Islander's should be there!
Dear All,
It is important for us to make ourselves heard because there will be government officials and DOH employees at the August 30th Town Hall Meeting in Riverhead. Below is another more why you should try to make it there.
The IDSA will not give up until they either bury us or have us all diagnosed as MS, Alzheimer's, ALS, or psychiatric patients, then give us painkillers, or tell us we are fine and give us nothing.
We need to have a huge attendance at the August 30th meeting. Government officials, DOH employees will be there and we need to make them listen to us!
The floor will be ours. After our guest speakers, the public can speak - YOU! When you get there, sign up to speak.
Also, please wear LYME Green and bring posters to wave - if you can. Not too big because we want the rest of the audience to be able to see.
But there will be some news media there and some photographers. Please be there. We cannot give up - I know you are all tired and it is so difficult, so you have my deepest thanks.
