Hello all and we send our best. In the past, I posted about a TV special we were interviewed for that was supposed to initially air in January.
The spot is ABC News Primetime Medical Mystery titled - Chronic Lyme Disease as it pertains to ALS and MS.
Delays, delays and delays and it is already fall. My last update from the producer, as of 9/6/07, is the executive producer is waiting for the proper moment and feels summer is a slow season so they are waiting for the new season.
The producer, the host and everyone in house loves the special and are anxious to see it air but were hoping for this summer.
An air date is checked on weekly and I will be notified as soon as the producer knows. I will then re-post ASAP for those who may be interested in hopes to help anyone on any level.
I do intend to update on my condition when I can (have to find the time) and will also keep up down the road as I expect my 23+ MS lesions will tell the final story.
Currently on Bactrim 1600/320mg/day, Doxy 400 mg/day and Roxithromycin 600mg/day. Cleaning me out!!!!!
Best wishes and regards to all, Karl

Hello all. Thanks for the encouragement. I will always push til it airs and further if needed.
I'll look into the Wednesday possibility yet, I do trust the producer to be able to notify me as soon as they post an actual air date but there always is Murphy's Law at work. I'll see what I can find.
Thank you for the posting, dmc.
Luckily been on the Bactrim for 2 months without issue and again, when I started I quickly knew it was a major help and when I doubled the dose, I felt much better immediately within a few hours.
The only issue is that it crosses the blood brain barrier very quickly so then throws me off balance and swollen head.
But you do seem to get used to it and can cope with it, knowing it's power. I haven't stopped using it as the allergy could be created should you use then stop then go on again if not instantly allergic.
Using the Bactrim, Roxy and Doxy is near equivalent to the IV Rocephin I did for 3 months early on. The Rocephin is what turned the corner for me.
Stella, here it is::Sorry for the delay. CADITHRO (Rulide, Roxithromycin or just called Roxy) It isn't an American abx. It has to come from overseas. It is stated to simply treat symptoms of Lyme Disease, yet I'm sure it is used for other infecious issues. It's not a prescription from my doctor.
It's my own choice to take based on my research. I AM NOT A DOCTOR AND NOT INFORMING OR RECOMMENDING CADITHRO, RULIDE, ROXITHROMYCIN OR ROXY TO ANYONE.
Will be in touch. Best regards, Karl
