It's my 44th birthday and I am here by myself, unless you count the four sleeping cats? An I find myself alone, and not so alone.

For here I am reading posts among "friends" in this vast world of cyberspace.

Friends who are dealing with the same things, those who can understand the confusion, brain fog, misdaignosis for years, pain, frustration, "there's nothing wrong with you", mixed emotions, etc...you all know what I mean.

You don't know me, and in fact I don't know you..but in our own ways...we know each other better than those closest to us.

Because we can relate, we can sence the emotions of each other over the miles and offer support and understanding and be a "friend".

So here I am, offering each of you a slice of my virtual non-fattening, sugar free, lyme/herx symptom relieving ________________cake (fill in your favorite flavor). ENJOY!

And thanks for being there, my new "friends".
Tamera [group hug]

Tamera,

Not wishing you lyme in any way, but if you do find it to come positive, it will be an honor to have you onboard here.

On a side note, my husband and I love b&b's and your warmth and kindness shines through very strongly just in these posts. I know staying at your place would be a very special experience.

Wishing you a very wonderful birthday and here's to hoping that it will bring many positive health changes in your life.

Hugs to you and Happy Birthday,
Cathy

Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday to youuuuuuuuu!
Happy birthday to you! [Big Grin]

I'm sorry you're alone on your special day, but I'm glad that you find a feeling of happiness and relief here on Lyme Net. I'm the same way. And I guess in a way it is better to be spending your birthday communicating with us than people who bring stress... if you know what I mean.

Well, I hope that you have a wonderful day! You deserve it! [group hug]

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our fav Alaska mother!!!

"IF" you were wonderin,,,Meg was talking bout ME again,,,thats okay,,,I always figure if somebody is talkin bout me ,,,leaves the rest of the world alone!!

Actually she MAY have meant that I have NO brain power. I suffer from brain infunction. Thats a close kissin cousin to brain infection,,,BUT not quite!! Maybe cuz I [bonk] ...

OR maybe I fell on it too many times,,,who cares,,,who counts!!?? BUT wait till you,,,a spring chick yet,,,,,, get as "OLD" as me,,,I turned 157 on MY last birthday!!

Wish I had a proper present for YOU!!! Maybe the MOST proper one would be just to have ME "SHUT UP""!! Properly 'presented'--just don--
